It’s a rare day of sunshine in Oregon! Now if I could just crank up the outdoor temps by about 40 or 50 degrees, it would be…ahhhh. Throw in some palm trees and sand, and you wouldn’t see me indoors again. (You’d never know that a few years ago I was an avid skier and snowboarder. Like dude – cold urticaria happened).

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! It’s a rainy day here in Alabama…perfect for catching up on some sleep..Had our traditional black-eyed peas and hog jowl..some collard greens and to kick it up just a notch…my famous Mexican cornbread…lol..Now, if I could just have a few more lazy days like this….Wishing all the best for the new year to you and Pete!!
Thanks my dear. I’m *really* missing the South lately – esp when you mentioned the black eyed peas! Even mom makes them and she’s so not Southern 🙂 If I had a magic wand, you would “call in rich” at work cuz I would share my lottery winnings with you!!!
