About Me

Flutetastic!

MUSICIAN. Crocheter of teddy bears and blankets. Closet poet. Plant-based diet, hippie chick. Bikram yoga practitioner. Half Marathoner (Half Couch Potato). Mostly trilingual. Ardent fan of off-the-wall humor, tie-dye and bluegrass festivals. Welcome to my eclectic world!

Here are the quick highlights. I started formal music training in 1972, but didn’t keep up the regular practice the whole time since then. Life happened along the way. I’ve played concert flute, off and on, all those years. I recently (since 2009) added 3 more flutes, ukulele, banjo, 2 types of harps and a HANDPAN!!

I’ve written quite a bit, mostly poetry, which is posted on another public site under a different user name. Perhaps I will share some of that here.
