  1. I just love sunflowers!!! Looks like you’ve got a good harvest. How do you know when they are ready? We grew some this year for the first time, but, I waited to long about cutting them…the birds loved them!!

    • When the seeds start getting their black stripes and/or the birds are eating them, they are ready! Save some seeds for next year. Out of our 75 seedlings, we had 43 successful plants – yay 🙂
